TOAST Circle
Keeping well-crafted pieces in circulation
We are guided by timeless design, creating long-lasting pieces from quality materials with a richness of texture. We value the time and the people behind each of our garments and continuously explore resourceful ways to keep our garments in use for longer.
Our circular initiatives include:
TOAST Reworn, our collection of previously loved pieces
TOAST Renewed, our collection of creatively repaired pieces
TOAST Exchange, our events-based clothes swap
TOAST Repair, our free mending service
Make a Donation
It’s vital that we take responsibility for the items we produce, to prolong their lifecycle and reduce waste – but we can’t do this alone. If you would like to donate TOAST pieces that no longer work for you, we will ensure they will be loved once again.
Reworn | Previously Loved Pieces
Our latest initiative, TOAST Reworn, offers an alternative to buying new, with pieces that have been previously loved or selected from past collections. From cotton twill trousers and fisherman rib sweaters to ticking stripe shirts and garment dyed linen jumpsuits.
Renewed | Creatively Repaired Pieces
Our collection of one-of-a-kind, creatively repaired pieces. Each item has been thoughtfully mended to give it a new lease of life. From sashiko repaired workwear garments to darned knitwear and intricately embroidered dresses.
Exchange | Our Swapping Events
TOAST Exchange explores a garment’s life beyond its first wearer. Each item features a story label detailing its history from the previous owner. Swap a TOAST item you’ve cherished for another at your local clothes swapping event on selected days throughout the year.
Repair | Our Free Mending Service
Our free mending service gives new life to your worn TOAST garments. Bring any TOAST garment in need of repair to one of our shops and our colleagues will discuss suitable mending options, from sashiko repair and darning to patching and appliqué.
Our Partnership with Traid
We have partnered with Traid, a UK charity working towards reducing the social and environmental impact of our clothes.
TOAST items that we are not able to repurpose through our Circle initiatives will be donated to Traid. 10% of the revenue from the sale of Reworn garments will also be donated to Traid’s long-term programme with educational foundation Rights Education And Development Centre (READ).
