TOAST Repair is our free mending service that brings new life to your worn TOAST garments. Bring a TOAST clothing item in need of repair into any TOAST Shop and discuss mending options with a member of the team.
Alternatively, if you are able to visit us in Bath, Edinburgh, Harrogate, London Notting Hill, London Shoreditch or Oxford you will have the opportunity to spend time with a repair specialist. Our specialist will discuss creative mending options and the best approach for extending the lifespan of your garment.
Our clothes carry the stories of the lives we lead and, more often than not, the tears, rips and threadbare areas can offer up some clues about our lifestyle or habits.
Using traditional techniques, many of which are sewn by hand, we will extend the life of your garment for years to come. By taking the time to restore a well-loved item and highlight its worn areas, we can rethink our relationship with clothing. Whether darned, reworked or visibly mended, a garment begins to tell a story of the wearer.
Over time, it is our hope that your TOAST clothing will hold an imprint of your own movements, giving a uniquely beautiful patina. Repairing our clothes is both an environmental and economical way of making them last.
How Does It Work?
Our teams will review your items, share creative techniques including visible and invisible options, consider your preferences and define the best approach for extending the lifespan of your garment.
Repaired items can be collected from our shops or posted to your home for a small charge.

We share our mending knowledge, from sashiko repair and woven darning to patchwork and appliqué, before selecting the technique best suited to the fabric and type of repair for your item of clothing.

What Do We Repair?
All TOAST garments can be repaired, regardless of when and where they were bought.
We are currently unable to accept footwear, accessories, jewellery, bags, swimwear or underwear.
