Helena Rohner Jewellery

Spanish jeweller Helena Rohner creates jewellery in organic shapes from her studio in Madrid. Challenging traditional uses of materials, Helena works with craftspeople to create rings, necklaces and earrings in Japanese Miyuki glass, porcelain and sterling silver and more.

Characterful necklace crafted in Spain by jeweller Helena Rohner with glass, ceramic and polyactic acid (PLA) beads, suspended from a sterling silver chain with a sculptural clasp. PLA is a biodegradable, thermoplastic polymer derived from renewable resources like corn starch or sugarcane. It`s often called a "bioplastic" and is known for being compostable and a more environmentally friendly alternative to traditional plastics derived from fossil fuels. Exclusive to TOAST.

Rooted in Madrid

Jeweller Helena Rohner designs from a quiet studio in Madrid’s oldest quarter. Her pieces are created in close collaboration with local artisans. Stone setters, woodturners, and metalworkers, many of whom she has worked with for over three decades.

Silver is a constant in her collections, often left polished and simple to highlight its natural warmth and tactility. At times, it’s paired with semi-precious stones or wood, materials chosen for how they reflect or absorb light. For Helena, jewellery is better if it isn’t over-designed.
